When: on boat: May 1st, 1926 Born: Jan 17th 1906 Died: April 16th, 1989 Reason: poor farmer, need money, glory for her and family
Once she got there, she sent money home to her parents until they died.
Work In US: she was a maid, then a lunch lady and then worked at an electrical company
Traveled: with her sister on a ship called the SS Thuringia
When she got to the US, she wrote a postcard back
